The IPs tab is where you add, view, check, and remove monitored IP addresses. Each row shows an IP, its current status, the assigned group, and the last-checked timestamp.
IPv4 and IPv6 are both accepted at add time. Today, Spotzee only checks IPv4 addresses against blacklists. IPv6 entries are stored but not actively checked.

Add an IP

Open the IPs tab

Inside the project, open Tools → Blacklist Monitoring → IPs.

Add the IP

Choose Add IP, then enter:
  • IP address (192.0.2.10, 2001:db8::1).
  • Group (optional). Assigning a group applies its check frequency and notification settings to this IP.

Save

Save. The IP enters monitoring with Pending status until the first check runs.

Edit an IP’s group

You can change which group an IP belongs to without removing it.

Find the IP

In the IPs tab, locate the row for the IP.

Open the row menu

Use the row’s overflow action to pick Change group.

Change the group

Pick a different group from the dropdown, or clear it to make the IP ungrouped. Save.
The new group’s frequency and notifications apply on the next scheduled check.

Run a check on demand

Resources are checked automatically on their group’s schedule, but you can queue an on-demand check.

Open the row menu

Use the row’s overflow action on the IP.

Choose Check now

Pick Check now. The IP is queued for a check; its status changes when that job completes.

Wait for the result

The status updates after the check completes. Refresh the page if you want to see the result without waiting for an automatic refresh.

IP statuses

Each IP shows one of four statuses: Hover the Blacklisted count to see the specific blacklist names where the IP is listed.

Open the row menu

Use the row’s overflow action on the IP.

Delete

Pick Delete. Confirm at the prompt.
Deletion stops monitoring and removes the IP record. Historical checks remain until retention cleanup and can still affect the history chart. To monitor the IP again, add it as a new resource.

What’s checked

For each IP, Spotzee runs a query against every blacklist included in your configured IP RBL type (Popular or Full, set under Settings). A listing on any one of them flips the IP to Blacklisted and leaves a listing result for the next hourly digest when recipients are configured. The check is purely DNS-based and doesn’t touch your sending infrastructure. Spotzee never sends test mail through your IP to check it; we only query the RBLs themselves.
